Pencipta robot seks Sergi Santos mengungkap prediksi yang mengejutkan. Pria asal Spanyol tersebut berkata, robot seks kemungkinan bisa memiliki keturunan karena kecerdasan buatan (AI, Artificial Intelligence).
Meski terdengar 'sinting', Santos optimistis jika robot seks nantinya bisa memiliki kemampuan reproduksi yang sama dengan manusia.
Bahkan, ia tengah mengembangkan teknologi kecerdasan buatan khusus untuk robot seks besutannya, Samantha. Untuk uji coba, Santos mengaku siap untuk berhubungan dengan Samantha agar robot tersebut bisa memiliki keturunan.
Secara mekanisme, Santos mengungkap cara kerjanya tidak sulit. Dengan 'otak' kecerdasan buatan dan gen khusus yang disuntik ke Samantha, robot akan memiliki kemampuan untuk menerima 'perasaan' dan emosi dari pasangan manusianya
"Tak perlu (hubungan) seks sebetulnya. Nanti si pasangan manusia akan menggunakan alat khusus yang akan 'menyampaikan' pikirannya kepada si robot. Nah, algoritma yang ada di robot seks ini akan mengolah pola pikir pasangan dan langsung menciptakan keturunan," ujar Santos sebagaimana dilansir The Independent, Kamis (26/10/2017).
"Algoritma mengirim data dan anak dari robot seks ini akan dicetak secara 3D. Ya, dengan printer 3D. Anak robot akan dicetak dari printer 3D," lanjutnya menerangkan.
