Yusril: My President is opposed many times. The Attorney General just collapsed, let alone the KPU

JAKARTA - General Chairman of the Crescent Star Party (UN) Yusril Ihza Mahendra is furious with the step of the General Elections Commission (KPU) that did not pass the party to the next election stage, namely the administrative selection process. He opened the front against the KPU. "If I say I am an opponent, I am against. The President was my opponent many times. The attorney general just uprooted my opponent, let alone the KPU, "said Yusril in Jakarta, Monday (30/10/2017). The UN is declared not yet complete the registration requirements for the 2019 election. Yusril questioned the existence of the political party information system (Sipol) applied by the KPU. He also complained to the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). Yusril claimed that the problems faced by the United Nations are merely administrative matters, so that they can not automatically disqualify their participation in the 2019 election

. According to Yusril, based on the election law, the verified party in the 2014 election and passed is no need to be re-verified. "This is just KPU regulations on registration requirements," he said. Yusril stated that the KPU is only authorized to make technical regulations regarding the implementation of the election. The KPU, he added, did not have the authority to declare a party to vote.
 

  "There is too much mandate for the KPU if he can do it," he said. According to the former Minister of Justice and Human Rights, the problems facing the UN have been brought to Bawaslu. Administrative documents, and receipt of registration of party branches at Regency / Municipal KPU have been submitted to Bawaslu. "So now the UN issue has been brought to Bawaslu and we show proof that all the requested documents are complete," he said.

 Yusril accused the KPU of KPU problematic.
