It was born on june 1st nineteen forty-five.panca means five,and sila means principle.so,pancasila is the five basic principles of the republic of indonesia.the five principles are.believe in the one supreme god.just and civilised humanity.the unity of indonesia.democracy which is guided by the inner wisdom in the unanimity arising out of deliberation amongst representa tives.sicial justice for the whole of the piople of indonesia.what,smeant by believe in the one supreme god?it means that the indonesia people ought to believe in god .the worshippers of each religion are given freedom to perform their respective services.there is no place for atheism,communism or marxism in indonesia.
