After PC, AMD Releases Ryzen Processor Special Notebook

AMD has just announced the latest line of Ryzen processors aimed at notebook devices. Previously, the company has launched Ryzen processor for desktop PC in high-end segment and entry level.

Known, two Ryzen processor for the notebook is Ryzen 5 2500U and Ryzen 7 2700U. Specially designed for ultrathin notebooks, this new AMD processor is technically APU (accelerated processing units). What does it mean?

As reported by Ubergizmo, Friday (27/10/2017), Ryzen new processor has a CPU and GPU integrated into one processor

Whether Ryzen 5 2500U or Ryzen 7 2700U, both new Ryzen processors are paired with Radeon Vega graphics processor which was also launched in August 2017.

Just for information, the speed of 2.0GHz is present in Ryzen 5 2500U can users increase to 3.6GHz. Meanwhile, Ryzen 7 2700U which has a speed of 2.2GHz can be increased to 3.8GHz.

In terms of performance, AMD claims both new Ryzen series processors promise increased CPU performance up to 200 percent compared to previous generation notebook processors. Not only that, the graphics performance was increased to 128 percent.

The company promised this new notebook processor will be installed and can be tested directly in some notebooks made by HP, Acer, and Lenovo that glide by the end of 2017.
